Question 1

How do I buy weed online in Canada on GG4?

Accepted Answer

Pick a strain, open its page and click Buy Now. You are taken to the partner shop, where you choose the size and complete the order. GG4 itself does not sell or ship cannabis.

Question 2

Are indica and sativa labels reliable?

Accepted Answer

Only loosely. A 2021 study in Nature Plants found the labels are poor predictors of a plant’s genetics and chemistry. Aroma and the dose matter more, so use the labels as a rough guide.

Question 3

What do AAAA, AAA and AA mean?

Accepted Answer

They are informal seller grades for appearance and trim: AAAA is top shelf, AAA premium and AA value. They are not an official standard and do not guarantee potency.

Question 4

What is total THC?

Accepted Answer

Raw flower holds THCA, which becomes THC when heated. Total THC = THC + THCA × 0.877. For example, 28% THCA plus 0.5% THC is about 25% total THC.

Question 5

How much THC does weed have?

Accepted Answer

Dried flower commonly tests between roughly 15% and 30% THC. Each strain page shows the range reported for that strain name; the tested figure for your batch is on the partner shop listing or the lab certificate.

Question 6

How can I tell if weed has gone bad?

Accepted Answer

Warning signs are white powdery or grey fuzzy patches, a musty smell, damp spongy buds, or flower that is dull, brittle and has lost its aroma. Do not use flower that may be mouldy.

Question 7

How should I store weed?

Accepted Answer

In an airtight glass jar in a cool, dark place, ideally with a two-way humidity pack. Heat, light and air break down cannabinoids and terpenes.

Question 8

What is the difference between flower and shake?

Accepted Answer

Shake and smalls are the small or loose pieces from the same plants as whole buds. The aroma is the same; the appearance is not, which is why they cost less.

Question 9

How old do I need to be?

Accepted Answer

You must be of legal age in your province: 19 in most of Canada, 18 in Alberta and 21 in Quebec.
