What is distillate?
Distillate is cannabis oil that has been refined until almost only cannabinoids remain. It is clear to golden, has little taste of its own and is used for dabbing, filling cartridges or cooking. Flavoured versions add terpenes or flavourings back after refining.
Using a syringe
A syringe makes tiny amounts measurable. A rice-grain-sized drop is a common starting amount, and the oil is thick enough that you should warm the syringe slightly in your hand to push it out. Because distillate is so strong, wait before taking more.
