Its fast-paced sativa high is a result of its Skunk-derived High Country Diesel and Aspen OG parentage, which are both powerful sativa strains. This strain is made up of pungent strains such as Aspen OG and High Country Diesel, both of which are top weeds. It’s also known as G6 and was developed by Colorado seed breeders 303 Seeds. THC levels range from 15% to 20%.

Jerry Can strain buds have medium-sized flowers that taper down into nearly conical forms. The bud structure is more sativa than indica, with light and fluffy leaves that pull away easily from the main stalks. Leaves are a dark earthy brownish-green, while pistils range from orange to rarely seen hues of maroon and crimson. Flowers of Jerry Can strain are coated in trichomes and leave a sticky resin when handled correctly after curing.

Its name refers to the sweet gasoline scent that emanates from the buds, as well as its energetic nature. Jerry Can strain has a fuel-like chemical punch akin to its parent strain, High Country Diesel. Grinding or burning the sticky blooms gives off a piney fragrance, harkening back to OG Kush origins of Jerry Can strain. The smoke produced by this strain is smooth, but the skunky diesel aftertaste might cause many smokers to reach for a glass of water. This pungent flower may not be suitable for people who want to keep their usage private.

Jerry Can strain, unlike most sativas, might take a few minutes to get going, giving consumers a burst of energy and euphoria. As a pressure around the eyes and temples is felt for the first time, some physical changes can be detected. Jerry Can strain, on the other hand, may create an invigorating creative atmosphere in a more laid-back setting; the never-ending sense of associative thinking may be a tremendous help when brainstorming, visualizing, or just floating conversation. Even for those with a high tolerance for THC, Jerry Can strain is not a strain to enjoy before going to bed.

The Jerry Can strain can help patients psychologically. If people are suffering from stress and anxiety symptoms, the acute sharpening of their senses may be a great help in allowing them to fully enjoy the present moment. The cerebral focus of this strain may also assist individuals with attention deficit disorders. Because of its potency and propensity to induce recursive, obsessive thinking, the Jerry Can strain is not recommended for patients or recreational users who are prone to anxiety or paranoia.

Seeds from Seeds for Saliva has made Jerry Can strain packaged seeds available online; if clippings are taken from a mature plant, it may also be cultivated as a clone. This is considered a somewhat difficult variety to cultivate because it needs close monitoring of temperature and humidity, so growers may have greater success tending to it indoors. To maximize yields and minimize competition, growers should also “top” their plants, snipping away any broad fan leaves that might block light and airflow from reaching the lower branches. When grown indoors, Jerry Can strain flowers mature within 9 to 10 weeks. It has a somewhat lower than average yield of about 37 grams (or 1.3 ounces) per square foot of plant.

Growers should also pay attention to properly curing the buds in order to maintain the Jerry Can strain’s flavor and potency. The buds are dried by hanging them upside down for a week in a room with 50% humidity and a constant temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit, then sealing the dried buds in wide-mouthed jars in ambient conditions of 70 degrees Fahrenheit and 60-65% humidity.

Jerry Can strain is a highly potent strain with a racing head high and an aroma that is reminiscent of pine car freshener. This isn’t a nighttime smoke unless you plan on having a long, energetic night followed by an inevitable crash.
